  • Shaping Perceptions : Spin Communiqué’s PR objective is to shape perceptions and the way different groups of people think and feel about a specific product, company, issue or individual. Coverage in the media is only a tool to achieve this objective.

  • Building Relationships : It is also our objective to educate, influence and build relationships not only with the media, but the different groups of target audience.

  • Media Push V/s Media Pull : The objective of the media campaign is to, over a period of time, create a situation where the media approaches the client to do stories on a regular basis. As a PR Consultancy, Spin Communiqué will regulate the data flow to perfect the image.

  • Media Events : As a creative consultancy, Spin Communiqué will, from time to time conceive media events in a bid to nurture the agreed image programme.

Scope Of Services

Media Relations Services
  • Developing and maintaining the Communication Resource Bank so as to respond quickly and accurately to media inquiries. The Resource Bank to include:
    • Detailed backgrounder of Client, its USPs and positioning
    • Profile of the management, their vision and achievements
    • Fact sheet
    • Agreed FAQS
    • An up-to-date information, documentation, record keeping in all forms & photo bank
  • Recognizing useful information for dissemination to the media
  • Identify appropriate media in targeted cities, update quarterly
  • Arranging interviews with media (print/electronic, etc.) to include interviews vide email/telephone/in person, as the requirements warrant. This would involve including but not limited to pitching, co-ordination, follow-up and tracking.
Press Releases
  • This would include creation or localization of the press release, obtain client’s approval for the same, dissemination, co-ordination with media, follow up and tracking.
One-on-One Interviews
  • As and when we have important information to share with the media we will try and initiate One-to-one interviews with the spokesperson.
Press Meets
  • As and when warranted, meets will be initiated.
Miscellaneous
  • Spin personnel servicing the account will keep themselves updated on all initiatives of the client.
  • Spin will conceive, copy write and dispatch Press Releases / Statements as required each month.
  • Spin will conceive the media outreach programme, invitations and the press releases. It will also co-ordinate with media and handle the floor at the time of the programme.
  • Spin will maintain contact with journalists who cover the client beats on a regular basis.
  • Crisis Communication: In the event of a crisis situation, Spin Communique will develop the tactical response, counsel & advise on media reach, and conceive the media stance.
  • From conceiving program, copywriting communication material, providing creative direction and conducting informal meeting on behalf of client, Spin Communiqué will handle all aspects of media planning and implement the communication program

Handling The Account

  • A highly experienced team will be created to handle the account.
  • The account team will be headed by a director and supported by the executives. The director will be responsible for uniform implementation, adherence to defined communications strategy and policy while maximizing the result.
  • There will be direct involvement of the other directors in the team.
  • The progress review meeting will be held once in a fortnight with the scope for the client to retrieve all aspects of progress, everyday.

Fees & Budget

  • Our fees are based on the executive time involved in strategizing, planning, execution and implementation of the agreed programmes.
  • We would anticipate setting a basic fee for the core programme to cover the press office, PR planning and executive functions. This would be estimated upon the brief provided by the company.
  • Monthly Fees to be paid in advance to cover out of pocket expenses.
  • Taxes and third party expenses would be set in addition.

Disclaimer

We do not influence journalists with gifts or imbursements. The entire campaign would be run on the merit and newsworthiness of the activities initiated by the client.

Our expertise and scope of services include, but are not restricted to, identifying the appropriate story pegs, presenting the correct story pitch to the media, pitching the story to the right journalist and providing value based servicing to both the media and the client. In our experience, a professional and disciplined approach gives the best and most consistent PR mileage.

Additionally, Spin Communique will not be obliged to undertake any activity that is illegal under Indian Law or that is a violation of the code of ethics adopted by the International Public Relations Association.
